Noah Craft, M.D., Ph.D., CEO and Co-Founder of Science 37, will be speaking in San Diego on May 9 at a program jointly organized by San Diego Clinical Research Network and San Diego Regulatory Affairs Network, Accelerating Clinical Trials Using Mobile Technologies: Current Trends and Regulatory Update. The program will be Monday May 9, 5:15-8:00 p.m. at CareFusion (BD), 3750 Torrey View Court, San Diego, CA, 92121.  Registration will open by Friday April 15 on sdran.org.

Science 37, based in Culver City, CA, uses telemedicine and mobile health technologies to transform the clinical trial model by shifting the center for research from traditional academic investigative sites to the patient’s home and local healthcare system. Science 37 was named  the Disruptive Innovator of the Year in 2015 by dPharm, and in 2016 was recognized as a Clinical Informatics News Best Practices Award winner.  In 2016, Dr. Craft was named one of the “Top 40 Healthcare Transformers.”

On the program also is Kim Tyrrell-Knott, J.D., from the Epstein Becker and Green law firm, who will talk on mHealth – Where It Has Been and Where is it Going? Kim is actively involved in policy development in the health IT industry. She co-chairs the Firm’s Digital Health Practice, serves as General Counsel to the Clinical Decision Support Coalition and co-led the mHealth Regulatory Coalition.

Advance registration is $30.  For discounted registration, become a member of SDRAN or the San Diego Clinical Research Network LinkedIn group.  Go to LinkedIn, search groups for San Diego Clinical Research Network, and click Join.
